"Together always, a story of love and of European Championships" is the title of the tribute to UEFA EURO 2020, entrusted to the story of a fan who, through evocative memories, retraces the most important moments of the tournament and tells how it has changed our society over the past 60 years. This is the theme of the projection on the facade of Palazzo Senatorio, in Piazza del Campidoglio, staged on Thursday 10 June at 9.30 pm, with the participation of the Mayor of Rome Virginia Raggi, the Extraordinary Commissioner for EURO 2020, Daniele Frongia, and the president of the FIGC, Gabriele Gravina.
After the inaugural performance, the citizens were able to attend a light and sound show, with live musical performances, which will link the threads of the history of Italy to the European Championships. The protagonist of the show is a man, born in Italy 60 years ago and raised with the exploits of the Azzurri champions at the European Championships. Paying homage to the most memorable matches, he celebrates the life of each of us, in a representation that combines sport, culture and costume, focusing on the narrative power of sounds, lights and colors. The show was re-proposed on the evening of 10 June at 10.30pm, on 11 and 12 June in two performances at 9.45pm and 11.15pm.
The show was created by Filmmaster Events, Local Operator of Roma Capitale, with the collaboration and concession of part of the audiovisual materials by UEFA, FIGC, Roma Capitale, RAI Teche and Panini.
